Clara Vadala, DVM

Dr. Vadala is a native of Celina, Texas and a former Ladycat band member and athlete. She loves her hometown and the community it serves, and hopes to continue helping the Bobcat community for years to come. Dr. Vadala “grew up” in the Animal Hospital of Celina, working here from the time she was 16, through college and vet school, then as an associate doctor for 7 years, before becoming Chief of Staff. Her veterinary interests include surgery of all kinds and urgent and emergent care. She also loves to see exotic pets (especially birds!) and has a ferret, two ball pythons, and several chickens of her own. Her favorite part about being a veterinarian is meeting and caring for her clients as well as her patients, and being an advocate for the human-animal bond. Her busy household also includes 7 dogs, 7 cats, and a rambunctious daughter! She is married to another Celina native, who teaches elementary music. Fun facts about Dr. Vadala include: she loves to run! And can often be found jogging the town on her lunch break. Dr. Vadala is also a published poet, with 3 books of poetry. She published her first book while in vet school in 2017!
