Dr. Steve Ruffner, DVM

Dr. Ruffner graduated from Texas A&M veterinary school in 1987, he has always practiced small animal. He enjoys the client and pet relationships that he has earned over the years!! His hobbies are working at his ranch in Young County, and college sports especially anything Aggie!! And restoring early 1900 homes.

Dr. Ruffner's wife Laura Ruffner, DVM graduated from Texas A&M in 1992 and practiced primarily equine medicine. She now runs their ranch.

Dr. Ruffner's son, Ryon, graduated a year ago From Texas A&M with a degree in Environmental Geosciences with a minor in Meteorology and is building his flying hours to eventually fly for American Airlines.

His daughter, Regan is a junior at Texas A&M dual majoring in Forensics and Psychology, she wants to profile serial killers.

The Ruffner's have 3 French bulldogs, 2 cats, 2 miniature donkeys, 2 horses, and approximately 70 registered Angus cattle.

The Ruffner's owned their own practice in Southlake for 27 years and recently sold it.
