Elena Wafford

Dr. Wafford was born and raised in Dallas Texas. She attended the University of Missouri for her undergraduate studies, receiving her B.S in Animal Sciences in 2021. She worked here as a technician (so definitely a familiar face to some!) before attending veterinary school at St. George's University. She completed her fourth year of clinical training at the University of Tennessee and was awarded her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2026. Dr Wafford has special interest in anesthesia, surgery, and neurology but loves all aspects of veterinary medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Wafford enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and traveling the world to experience new cultures.Give a big welcome to her!
